Ainsley and Daniel’s wedding on March 24, 2024, was a blast from start to finish! Picture this: the charming Ian Potter House was the stage for their heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Then, the party shifted to Parlour in the city, where the vibe was laid-back and the cocktails were flowing.
The music? Oh, it was a rollercoaster of genres, perfectly mirroring the couple’s eclectic taste. We kicked things off with hip hop and pop, setting the tone for a night of non-stop dancing. As the evening unfolded, we sprinkled in some 70s and 80s classics that got everyone on their feet, grooving under the dimly lit, eccentric atmosphere.
But wait, there’s more! The bride and bridesmaids were in for a treat as we dove into 2000s hip hop bangers, igniting the dance floor with infectious energy. And just when you thought you’d caught your breath, we threw in some hard-hitting EDM hits that had everyone losing themselves in the music.
It was a wedding where the music matched the mood perfectly, creating memories that Ainsley, Daniel, and their guests will cherish for years to come.

“Ren took his time to thoroughly understand our music tastes (a complex mix of rnb, metal, a few party hits and a long list of dislikes). He kept our dancefloor packed from 8.15pm – 11.45pm, a feat that we did not expect. The were mixed seamlessly which meant there were no lulls. He somehow managed to mix an rnb song into “Last Resort” by Papa Roach, which really got the dance floor moving and impressed everyone.
Many family members (all with different tastes) commented on how they loved the variety and what a ripper party it was!
He had excellent communication, easy to get along with and made our night more fun that we could have imagined. He replied quickly to any questions we had, and the in-person meetings were very useful. The app was easy to use and gave the ability for guests to upload songs that they wanted to play as well.
You should hire Ren for your wedding. You won’t regret it.”

Brianna and Lachlan, the adorable couple of the evening, radiated love and joy as they tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones. The bridesmaids added their own touch of excitement with a trolley filled with bottles of Fireball, ensuring the party kicked off with a fiery start!
As the night unfolded, the music took center stage, catering to the wild crowd’s eclectic tastes. From twangy Country melodies that got boots stomping to EDM bass drops that lit up the dance floor, the energy was electric. Let’s not forget the timeless charm of 80s classics and the nostalgia of 2000s Hip Hop, adding layers of excitement to the mix.

Despite the rain adding its own rhythm to the day, nothing could dampen the spirits of the lively crowd who danced from dusk till midnight at Maddy and Jamie’s wedding.
We kept the dance floor buzzing with a mix of country favorites, including the iconic sounds of Taylor Swift that had everyone singing along (especially Maddy!).
But we didn’t stop there! We sprinkled in some irresistible beats from the 2010s, threw it back with 2000s Hip Hop, and even dished out some timeless 80s classics for the old at heart.
The rain added a touch of romance to the festivities, turning the evening into a cozy, unforgettable affair. It was a celebration where love, laughter, and music intertwined seamlessly, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Picture this: 11 November 2023, a day filled with hip-hop beats from the 90s and 00s mingling with the rebellious spirit of punk rock and the timeless charm of 80s classics.
This wasn’t just any wedding; it was a celebration as unique as the couple themselves. Melissa and Byron, owners of a gun shop, brought their own flair to the festivities, infusing it with a dash of their adventurous spirit. The intimate gathering took place against the stunning backdrop of Lake Crackenback, adding a touch of natural splendor to the day’s magic.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the music became the heartbeat of the celebration, reflecting the diverse tastes of the newlyweds. Despite being a last-minute celebration, the love and warmth radiated by Jamba and Chris, as well as their families turned it into a truly unforgettable event.
Jamba’s family traveled all the way from Bhutan, while Chris’ family joined in from Indonesia, adding a beautiful blend of cultures and traditions to the festivities. The intimate gathering created a close-knit vibe, making every moment feel incredibly special.
As their DJ, we curated a playlist that reflected the diverse backgrounds of the couple and their guests. From energetic 2000s hip hop beats to timeless 80s classics, the dance floor was alive with joy and laughter. To honor Jamba’s roots, we also included some Bhutanese songs, ensuring everyone felt at home and happy.
The Margaret Whitlam Pavilion, surrounded by lush greenery, provided the perfect backdrop for this heartwarming celebration. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments shared among family and friends. Jamba and Chris’ wedding was a true testament to the power of love to bring people together, no matter the distance or circumstances.
“DJ Renkun had an excellent performance at The Arboretum in Canberra on October 20th for my wedding, particularly when it came to selecting song to match the venue, guest and vibes. The choice of songs was well-received, and the DJ’s ability to curate a playlist from this era likely contributed to a great atmosphere and enjoyment for the audience. He was very proactive with the process knowing that We hired him 2 weeks before the wedding. I personally vouch and recommend anyone that are looking for DJs for their wedding or any event.”

Let us introduce one of the coolest couples we have ever met. Jess and Bart, who spend their days camping out of their pimped out bus (yes, a bus), put together one of the most memorable celebrations to date. From the delicious gourmet foods prepared by the staff at Tinkersfield, to the lovely family and friends that surrounded Jess and Bart, this wedding was one of our favourites.
The music we provided was diverse, however the crowd absolutely loved their 2000s Hip Hop bangers, as well as the hard-hitting EDM drops which we played at maximum volume (thank God it’s a big property!).
As the night unfolded, the dance floor was a whirlwind of energy and joy. Jess and Bart’s wedding was not just a celebration of love but a testament to their free-spirited nature and the wonderful community they’ve built around them. It was a night to remember, filled with unforgettable moments and a whole lot of fun!

We had an absolute blast blending traditional Greek tunes with modern hits for Vass and Chris on 1 October 2023.
With the majestic Gandel Hall as our backdrop, we grooved to the sounds of Stratos, our Bouzouki player, adding an authentic touch to the festivities. We kicked things off with classic Greek dances like Kalamatiano, Zeibekiko, and Tsifteteli, keeping the cultural spirit alive.
But we also mixed it up with Top 40 hits, 2000s R&B jams, and a sprinkle of 70s classics, ensuring there was something for everyone on the dance floor. The result? A fun-filled evening where old traditions met contemporary beats, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity.
Guests had a blast dancing to the diverse playlist, making memories that reflected the unique blend of Vass and Chris’ heritage and modern tastes. It was a wedding where the music brought people together, making it a night to remember for all.

Step into Christie and Mark’s memorable wedding at Hotel Realm on September 30, 2023. The venue was transformed into a breathtaking spectacle with dazzling up-lighting and elegant chandelier lighting, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
Christie, the radiant bride, had a special love for movie theme songs, and the night was filled with the enchanting melodies of classics like Mulan and Lion King, adding a touch of cinematic charm to the festivities. The guests were transported into a world of nostalgia and joy as they sang along to their favorite movie tunes.
As the DJ, we kept the dance floor alive with a mix of Christie’s beloved Taylor Swift hits, ensuring everyone danced the night away. We also sprinkled in timeless 80s classics that had the crowd grooving and threw in some irresistible 2010s hits to keep the energy high.
The blend of movie magic, beloved music, and a beautifully lit venue created an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration.
